What Can I Do At Owl's Hill?

To protect and preserve the 160-acres of land we manage - and the wildlife that live here - access to Owl's Hill is by reservation only. But there are many opportunities to visit the sanctuary.
Attend a Public Program
Attending a public program is a great way to stop by the sanctuary for a visit. We offer several programs a month for all ages. Preschoolers are welcome at the sanctuary every first Tuesday and Wednesday for Knee-High Naturalist. Bring the family by to build fairy houses during a Fairyland event, or attend Music in the Meadow in the summer.
For Adults, stretch your creative muscles by attending an art class, or stop by for a seasonal interpretive hike to learn about the wildflowers or just to enjoy the autumn foliage.
There are many more events and programs to experience. Be sure to check out the Events Calendar to find out more!
Free Days!
Owl’s Hill has made a commitment to open up the sanctuary at least once a month for a Free Day. These days can be themed, like our family geocaching events or Owl Day.  Or sometimes, we open up the sanctuary for hiking.  These hikes are guided by knowledgeable staff and volunteers and are sure to enhance your experience at the sanctuary.  Free Days are typically for all ages.  Check out the Calendar for the next Free Day!
Book a Tour
Want a more intimate experience at Owl’s Hill? We offer private tours for groups and individuals. Tours feature a visit with the owls and a hike through the sanctuary. Or, for a more intimate experience, we offer up close and personal encounters with one of our education owls.  Check out the Tours page to find out more!
