Susan Duvenhage

Executive Director

Susan Duvenhage, Executive Director, joined Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary on August 14, 2017. Susan has over 20 years of experience leading non-profit organizations, most recently as President and CEO of Adventure Science Center. Prior to Adventure Science Center, Susan served in roles of increasing responsibility with the Florida Museum of Natural History and as Director of Development for University of Florida Foundation in Gainesville. She is a graduate of Leadership Nashville and has served on the Tennessee STEM Leadership Council and Next Generation Science Standards State Leadership Team of the Tennessee Department of Education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communication from the University of Florida and Professional Accreditation in Public Relations from the Florida Public Relations Society.
