Music in the Meadow The first concert of the summer will be a first for Owl’s Hill: Musical Theater in the Meadow! On June 22, a group of Nashville’s top theater performers will gather to serenade you with favorites from shows new and old, some solos, some duets, maybe even a standard or two. Count on hearing a little Rogers and Hammerstein, something from Les Mis, and some Sondheim thrown in for good measure. Plan to leave humming! Register Now |

Music in the Meadow Soulful songstress Brigitte DeMeyer came to Nashville via California, and it’s a good thing for us that she stayed. Her songs are an irresistible, simmering mixture of gospel, country, blues, and soul. Her voice is powerful and authentic. On July 27 she will be joined at Owl’s Hill by her frequent collaborator, Will Kimbrough, known throughout the Americana world and beyond for his artistry as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Music in the Meadow In August, concert-goers will get to enjoy an acoustic offering by the band Sixpence None the Richer. Matt Slocum and Leigh Nash have been making beautiful music together since the early 1990s, and it will be lovely to have them here at Owl’s Hill to share it with us. They will be joined by their long-time bassist Justin Cary. Register Now |
