Dedicated to education, conservation, research and species protection, Owl's Hill's programs focus on nature and environmental appreciation. To protect and preserve our 160 acres - and the wildlife that live here - access to Owl's Hill is by reservation only.
Owl's Hill programs teach about seasonal changes, sensory awareness, wildlife habitats and responsible human interaction with the natural world, all while encouraging the enjoyment of nature. Each year, more than 8000 visitors participate in scheduled nature programs and environmental education opportunities designed for:

Owl's Hill is a protected natural area. Plants that scratch, prick and make you itch as well as animals that bite and sting live undisturbed in this unique sanctuary. Trails are unpaved. Your visit in this peaceful acreage will be more comfortable and pleasant if you arrive prepared for the experience. Remember that you will be outside most of the time.
- Be weather-wise; dress for the weather.
- Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and socks, boots for cold or rain.
- Use the restroom before you come. Our facilities are portable toilets.
- Review the rules before you come.
- Use insect repellent for visits April 1 - October 15.

- Do not pick anything or take away anything that you find
- Do not throw objects. This includes throwing rocks into the ponds.
- Do not disturb nest boxes or live exhibits.
- Do not use cell phones on trails or during programs except as a camera.
