Birthday Parties

 
Come celebrate a birthday at Owl’s Hill!

We provide a guided hike, a craft project and the option to add an Animal Ambassador (subject to availability). You provide any food, paper goods (cups, plates, utensils and napkins), and simple decorations (see Birthday Party Policies).
 

All Parties Cost:
Tuesday-Thursday (Weekdays): $280
Friday - Saturday (Weekends): $350
 
What does the cost cover?
Total guests (Children + Adults): 20
$5 per person over 20; up to 10 additional guests max.

Outdoors under the Russell Pavilion, rain or shine.

Birthday Party Policies:

AVAILABILITY: Birthday parties are available Tuesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - Noon or 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. 

BOOKING:  Birthday parties must be booked at least two (2) weeks in advance of your desired party date. Payment in full is required to reserve your date and time. Your date does not go on our Birthday Party Calendar until we receive payment. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:  If you provide Owl's Hill written notice of cancellation 15 or more days prior to the party date (to info@owlshill.org), the fee paid, minus $50 cancellation fee, shall be refunded. If cancellation takes place 8-14 days before  the scheduled date, the cancellation fee for refund is 50%. 

If cancellation takes place less than 8 days before the scheduled date, no refund will be issued. Rescheduling, at the host’s request, is considered a cancellation and will incur the same fees. 

WEATHER: Events are rain or shine. Refunds will not be given for weather-related cancellations.

DECORATIONS: Host may setup and decorate 30 minutes prior to the party start time. Your birthday party package includes the private use of our beautiful covered pavilion, use of two (2) six-foot tables for food and drink (see below) and/or gifts, plus use of four (4) additional six-foot picnic tables with bench seating for your guests. Decorations may not be taped, stapled or applied to pavilion structure. Confetti, pinatas, silly string and helium balloons are prohibited. A word about balloons...at best they become litter; at worst, they jeopardize wildlife and the environment. In lieu of balloons consider bubbles, dancer streamers, or pinwheels. FOOD & DRINK: Hosts are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks. All food and drink must stay in the pavilion. Bring an ice chest or cooler; no refrigeration or freezer is available.

CLEANUP:  Cleanup must be completed within the 2-hour party time. We cannot accommodate time extensions. Owl's Hill is a "carry in/carry out" facility. Please plan to leave the pavilion as you found it. Kindly take all leftovers, trash and recycling with you leave.
