Spring Wildflower Walks
Tuesday Afternoons, March 19 - April 30
1-3 pm
$7/person in advance; $10/person at the gate

Spring Beauty, Blue-eyed Mary, Larkspur - Middle Tennessee wildflowers are remarkable, so we offer a series of guided walks for adults ONLY. Come to one or come to all and watch the progression of spring at Owl’s Hill. Walks begin promptly at 1; reservations suggested. Cameras and binoculars welcome.  Register Now

Eating from the Woods: Summer
July 6, 9 am - noon
Cost: $10/person in advance; $15/person at the gate
Adults and interested children 12 and older

Pandy English,interpretive naturalist, environmental educator, wildlife biologist and teacher will lead this wild edibles program a follow-on to last year's spring event.  You won’t be Euell Gibbons by the end of the class, but you will get a good taste of the wild plants that can be cooked, eaten, drunk and even used for medicinal purposes. Nature's summer bounty, gathered and prepared by English,  will be available to inspect and sample.  Bring a notepad and pencil or pen,  wear comfortable shoes for exploring and dress for the weather.  Register Now

Extend your knowledge of wild edibles with our guide and chef, Pandy English, as she introduces us to the bounty of autumn.  In addition to the goodies prepared by Pandy, there will be resource books and recipes to share.  Bring a notepad and pencil or pen,  wear comfortable shoes for exploring and dress for the weather.  Register Now
