$10 – Plant a native plant in the Teaching Gardens
The Sanctuary Gardens offer a wonderful teaching opportunity for gardeners to demonstrate the beauty and advantages of native plants - plants that are accustomed to our Middle Tennessee weather and offer food sources to our native birds, butterflies and other animals.

$20 - Help fill the wildlife feeding stations around the nature center.
Owl's Hill offers a safe habitat for many songbirds and small mammals.  Help to maintain these intriguing creatures by purchasing seed for our feeding stations.   Stations are filled daily with sunflower and thistle seed, peanuts, mixed seed for ground feeding species and, in winter, various types of suet.  This not only helps to promote the health of our birds and animals, but attracts them to areas where our visitors can view, study and enjoy them.

$35 - Add a box to the Bluebird Nesting Trails
Owl's Hill maintains several miles of cavity nesting trails - trails that feature bird boxes with the appropriate size openings and design to attract Eastern Bluebirds, Carolina Chickadees, Tufted Titmouse and Carolina Wrens.  Some areas also have Wood Duck, Barn Owl and Screech Owl boxes.  Boxes are monitored weekly during the nesting season, and data is sent to the Cornell NestWatch program to be included in national and international databases.  Repairs and replacement are accomplished during the winter.  Assist us in this important project.

$50.00 - Help eradicate invasive exotic plant species
Unlike native plants, exotic invasive species offer little for the local wildlife, and choke out beautiful native species. Honor a friend by donating to help keep these invasive plants from destroying the forests at Owl's Hill.

$100 - Owl Support
Help feed and provide care for our resident owls. Our smallest owl, little Hoot the Screech Owl, eats 2 mice 6 days a week; a total of 624 mice per year!   Our newest owl, Orion the Barn Owl, eats 4 mice 6 days a week; 1248 mice per year!  Your gift helps keep food on their feeding shelves.

$125 - Sponsor a Program
Underwrite registration fees for a group of 20 school or community center children who otherwise might be unable to participate in an environmental education program.
