NATURE RANGER CAMP
Hands-On experience for the Young Naturalist
-
Designed for the serious nature lover age eight through eleven (grades three through six.)
-
Each day has a different focus, including trees, insects, owls, reptiles, amphibians, pond and creek.
-
Campers keep nature portfolios as they participate in hands-on study of the inhabitants of the Sanctuary.
-
A mid-morning snack and drink are provided each day.
-
Campers bring lunch to enjoy in the Orchard Picnic area except for the last day
-
Camp begins at 4 pm on the last day and includes a cookout dinner provided by Owl's Hill followed by a night adventure. Pick-up time is 10 pm.

Parents interested in sharing the cookout and adventures with their camper may register for Nature Ranger Parents' Night.

NATURE RANGER PARENTS' NIGHT
Share an Evening Adventure with Your NatureRanger Camper
-
Parents or other adult relatives of NatureRanger campers may register to share the cookout and night adventure with their camper.
-
The evening includes dinner, a nature program and a night hike.
-
Clear evenings may end with a star party.
-
Limit of 2 adult reservations/camper.
We do not have adequate facilities to accommodate siblings. The Summer Nights at the Hill program offers a similar experience for members of the family, age 5 and older. Check Family Programs for details.

NATURE ADVENTURE CAMP
Outdoor Summer Adventure and Exploration

A new camp for children age 5 - 11.

Environmental education and nature studies in a natural setting.

Includes hiking, exploring, wading, fort building and meeting live animal.
-
Camp sizes are kept small so that each child receives individual attention.
-
Each day is based on a different theme with activities centered on that theme.

A mid-morning snack and drink are provided each day.

Monday through Thursday campers bring lunch to enjoy in the Orchard Picnic area.

Friday camp concludes with a hotdog cookout provided by Owl's Hill.
-
Camp begins promptly at 9 am and ends at 1:30 pm.

All campers receive a camp shirt
