About Us

Owls Hill Nature Sanctuary is 160-acres of protected green space.  Our mission is dedicated to:

• Environmental Education and Research
• Restoration of Native Flora and Fauna
• Conservation and Protection of Natural Resources
• Appreciation and enjoyment of nature

It is also home to several live owls that were injured in their native environment. After completing rehabilitation, these owls were unable to be returned to the wild because of permanent injury. They now serve as wildlife ambassadors and help educate people about issues concerning respect, care and preservation of wild animals.

OPEN ON A RESERVATION BASIS

Owls Hill is open to individuals and groups on a reservation basis.  We work to make sure each visit is a special occasion.   If you visit us you will find:

• A quiet place for adults to recapture their spirit
• A place for families to discover nature and each other
• A sanctuary for native species
• A place where stewardship of the land is encouraged

We offer a wide-variety of nature-focused programs for schools, scouts, adults and customized programs to suit the needs of your group.
